Dear Grapevine

FOR THOSE in our Fellowship who experienced the "white light" type of spiritual awakening, God's arrival came suddenly, miraculously, and had the effect of a positive, life-changing alteration in their perception of the universe. Others had to ask for it, which took every ounce of will, lots of prayer, and the willingness to let go of everything. The effects were the same whether the awakening was sudden or educational: A remarkable and dramatic departure from the old lifestyle, and a kind of happiness previously unknown and independent of life's circumstances.
