DEAR GRAPEVINE

In response to the letter, "Hello, I'm an alcoholic," in the February 2009 Grapevine: I understand the concept of singleness of purpose, but is it really important for me to spend so much time and energy trying to figure out who belongs and who doesn't? I try to avoid controversy. I have handed my will over to my Higher Power rather than trying to feel powerful telling who is welcome and who isn't. God seems to be handling things, and I believe he can sort things out just fine. I thank him every meeting for whomever he brings into my life and in the rooms, and for the fact that he speaks through everyone who shares.
