This is your big debut

This is neither where my story starts nor ends. On my 28th day of sobriety, I was to attend a Christmas party at a co-worker's home. There was to be drinking, and none of these eight or so women knew that I had quit drinking. Most of them probably didn't even know that I had a problem. Nobody knew how serious it was. I hadn't found the right time to tell them, and still haven't.
