AA Takes Root in Khon Kaen
A member moves to a remote part of Thailand and helps get meetings started
I moved from Aberdeen, Scotland, to Bangkok, Thailand, in 1995. I'd like to tell people I moved here for the beautiful beaches, friendly people, and rich Buddhist culture, but in reality, I moved because I could get cheap drink and over-the-counter sedatives to get through a day's work, which enabled me to buy more drink for the evening.
