Releasing Your Defects

A new me has emerged from the wreckage of the past. A new me whom I could not have selected, even if I had been given the choice. I could not have imagined which defects of character to give up, nor what they would have been replaced with, nor how. To me, this is the power of God doing for me what I cannot do for myself. This is how recovery is working in my life.
