When he got home, rehab was far away, but AA was waiting
In 2003, as a result of an intervention in Chicago by people who cared enough about me to try to help, I chose to enter a rehabilitation program on the east coast. It was a program I respected, having attended a number of workshops they had sponsored. Ironically, as an administrator, I had been involved in a number of interventions that sent people there for help.
