Dear Grapevine

I WAS adopted at age 6 by wonderful parents and the most loving and supportive family. Both my parents were active in AA for a long time; no one is immune to the disease of alcoholism. I always wanted to be the best at everything--even at drinking, I now see. I am now 32 and serving 36 months in state prison.
