God drove me there

Craving booze, he heads for the liquor store and ends up at an AA meeting instead

I HAVE never been very religious. I believed that there was a God or Higher Power, but I had no idea who or what it was. Since I didn't understand it, why would I think I needed a God in my life, anyway? My life was good enough as long as I was drunk. I never prayed because I never knew whom I would be talking to. I didn't need a God in my life. I could handle things on my own. I think the definition of agnostic fit me the best. But I did like some of the morals of Christianity and what it stood for. So I would call myself a Christian agnostic, if that makes sense.
