A Kid like me
A troubled teen and a 40-something sponsor have more in common than they think
My first sponsee was a young man barely 17 years old. He attended the daily after-work meeting of my home group. He seemed a nice enough kid. But from his overall appearance and attitude, in addition to the fact that he was already in AA at such a tender age, it was evident that he had a pretty troubled past.
