How 'normal' feels

When I first got sober, I was so fragile and unbalanced. I used to ask, "when am I going to feel normal?" I was drunk for so long, I didn't know how normal felt. I had to get to know myself again, and I didn't like it. Life one day at a time was truly my motto.
