Inuit and First Nation AAs attend special forum in Northern Ontario

GSO, Grapevine, local AAs discuss challenges

Sixty-nine AAs and friends traveled the ice roads of Northern Ontario to attend a special forum held February 14 and 15 in Moose Factory, Ontario, a Cree village on the southern shore of James Bay. The forum's purpose was to discuss the challenges that local AAs face in carrying the message to alcoholics in the Inuit and First Nation villages of northern Canada, and to look at ways the General Service Office (GSO), the AA Grapevine and the local service structure might help.
