Beyond 'I'm sorry'

I was just out of rehab and getting involved in AA in my community. I got a sponsor, and I told him about the mess I'd left behind on my last drunken spree. I work as a freelance graphic designer and was in the middle of several projects for an ad agency. It was St.Patrick's Day and I'd decided to tie one on because, after all, I'm lrish-American.
