THE DOOR

I have entered this door many times. There is absolutely nothing special about this day. It is a normal day, loaded with a normal day's smells, sounds and traffic congestion. The only thing out of the ordinary is that I am walking toward this door from my home. Usually I drive, but today I decided to walk, as I had extra time--and my car was broken. I guess I could have asked for a ride, but asking for help is not my strong suit. My legs often pay for my pride--it keeps me in shape.
