LAUNDRY VS. MEETING

I go to AA meetings frequently. Most times I cannot wait to get there, as it is a place that feels like home to me--sometimes better than home, as the acceptance is pure and without expectations. Being "home" in my clubhouse, I get more than a cozy feeling; it is real, selfless love. It's a place where people truly accept me, wherever I am and wherever I have been. I don't have to put on any type of facade to fit in.
