Keeping it green

I've only been in Alcoholics Anonymous a short time and I'm coming up on four months. Some would say, "Just shut up and listen" to us newcomers, with our drunkalogs and self-pity and, in some cases, they would be right. But I feel we have something important to contribute. We're still very green and vulnerable. Like flowers, we are blossoming and wanting to share our strength and hope for a sober future.
