NO ACCIDENT

I WAS 18 years old and scraping along, just above bottom. I had all kinds of problems. I had no money, my truck had blown its motor and I had ongoing relationship issues with everyone around me. I was irritable, discontent and angry at life. I had quit school the year before and was living in a small house with a couple of other guys my age. I was drinking and using any mood-altering substance I could find. I barely managed to keep a job working for my brother, although he didn't want people to know we were related.
