At Wit's End

The annual Florida State Convention was held in a swank beach hotel, complete with all the luxuries. On the third day of the convention, a charming lady, seeking accommodations, was having a slight argument with the manager, since she wanted to bring her pedigreed poodle with her. The manager finally convinced her that the hotel would not take pets and, as she left in somewhat of a huff, she was overheard to mutter, "No dogs, but alcoholics?!"
