Stories of Emotional Sobriety

In the "Angel in the Glass," a woman looks back at the ups and downs of 10,000 days of a sober life

This week's stories focus on maintaining emotional sobriety through challenging experiences such as relationships and the loss of loved ones.

In "Happy Endings," a woman tells the story of meeting a man in AA, learning how to be in a relationship, and eventually marrying. In a similar vein, in "Me, Myself, and I," an AA realizes that she is not on the outside looking in anymore. She is no longer alone.

Meanwhile, in "Not Drowning Our Sorrows," a member describes the differences she experienced in facing grief sober rather than drunk. A complementary story is "AA Friends."
