Torn, Tattered and Tired

A functional alcoholic comes to terms with the true nature of his problem

I was torn, tattered, and tired. That's all I really knew. From what I could piece together I had been in and out of a blackout for approximately 90 days or so. I did my normal day-to-day things: get up, go to work, stop for a drink, drive home. No one realized what was happening. I could have killed someone and not even realized it.
