A Young AA lost herself to alcohol but AA proved to be the key
I have been struggling for so long, trying to just figure out how to be happy—happy with me and happy with life. Always trying on the wrong shoes and being disappointed. I let by myself down and others. I picked up alcohol, which led to the picking up of many other mind-altering, soul-distorting substances, and an obsession with sex and male-attention, and a confusion as to where I fit in.
