Good Neighbors

One group's move affects another and sends them on the road to an amends

My home group met at one of the local clubs in our area. Although we were not affiliated with the club, we rented their meeting room. In early 2007, we learned that the club was closing its location and moving; however, at the time we could not be guaranteed a meeting place at the new location. Our group began to research other possibilities, and we found a meeting place at a church. There was a meditation group meeting upstairs at the same time as our meeting, but the church official did not think this would be a conflict, as long as we were quiet.
