Going Against the Crowd

An AA questions the pressure to conform to certain widespread meeting practices

After 27 years of sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous, having chaired meetings, gone on Twelfth Step calls, been a sponsor, been sponsored, been a GSR, spoken for the Public Information Committee, etc., I am beginning to feel as if my membership in Alcoholics Anonymous is in danger of being revoked.
