I learned a little something from my service sponsor a while back. You know those bronze medallions that we receive when we celebrate a sobriety anniversary? We AAs certainly do spend a hefty sum of money on these. I’ve talked to several AAs who weren’t aware that these medallions aren’t produced or furnished by AA, and that the money we spend on them goes to the company that makes them and doesn’t benefit AA at all.
