Love on the Rocks
I’ve always loved my wife, but my problem used to be that I loved myself more. I could never find a way to bring that love into our marriage the way it should be. My interests always had to come first. As we hit our late 20s, my wife and I began to go to bars and clubs; then we eventually began drinking at home. Before long we were both drinking every night. We became two people coexisting in the same house, surviving just enough to find the next drink. After a few years, alcohol was the only common bond we could find. It nearly destroyed us and our marriage in
the process.
