Why Me?

"Why me?” Before I got sober almost 13 years ago, I used to ask myself this question all the time. It usually started a series of days with me on my pity pot feeling sorry for myself. “Life is not fair” was the only response I heard from my Employee Assistance Program some 15 years ago. I met my EAP counselor again at an AA convention a few years
later. Imagine that! Now
after being in AA and working the Steps, I have a new perspective.
