A trip to the cemetery for a Ninth Step amend came with some beautiful surprises

One night, a sponsee called. He talked a mile a minute, recounting an altercation only moments before with a deliveryman. No punches were thrown, but wonton soup and fried rice had sailed out the front door into the street. We talked about the danger of his righteous anger. The Big Book is emphatic about this: Unrestrained anger can lead to a drink. It can also do real damage to the people around us. On that point, I spoke from experience.
