Connected at the Hacienda

A few years ago, my AA meeting’s secretary made an announcement about a service that needed volunteers, called Bridging the Gap. It matches AA members up with newcomers just getting out of detox centers, treatment facilities or jails, and then takes them to AA meetings in their home community. I had never heard of it before and asked the secretary for more information; she gave me a phone number to call.
