That Big Green Thing

I came to AA with a lot of reluctance, in great part due to my fear of having to face the “God issue.” I had a spiritual and religious background from the days of my youth but, most disappointingly, it did not keep me from becoming alcoholic, or prevent the many “life bombs” I would experience over the years. However, I was so desperate to do something about my drinking problem, I simply figured I would cross that bridge when I got to it.
