The "Right" Way

I’ve recently been prompted to re-think something that I feel has had a profound effect on my position in the Fellowship of AA. It concerns the Big Book quote: “Our book is meant to be suggestive only. We realize we know only a little. God will constantly reveal more to you and to us.” I have been aware of this statement for many years. As is the case with this all-or-nothing alcoholic, I’m often apt to be quite wrong.
So, those who have had the pleasure—or displeasure—of being exposed to me over the years will be somewhat shocked or overjoyed at what I am about to say. I hope it brings
them comfort.
