Sweet Goodbye at the Farm

A sponsor learns the power of letting go by showing up for her sponsee

“I don’t do death,” I once said to someone in the rooms, just being a smarty. The truth is, I had always been away when important people in my life passed away. They all died suddenly and so I was shocked, saddened and mostly relieved that they hadn’t lingered, and that I didn’t have to watch them suffer. I would always just arrive in time for the funerals.
