On the Right Track

A man who lost his job finds something much more important on his way home

They say there are as many ways to find your Higher Power as there are members of Alcoholics Anonymous. From our co-founder Bill W.’s brilliant “white light” spiritual awakening to a gradual rise of understanding of our own, like a beautiful, cool fall dawn, there is no right way or wrong way to find your HP. There are just ways. People experience their spiritual awakenings at AA meetings, while meditating, while working the Steps with a sponsor—the options are endless. For me, it finally began one day as I was sitting on a train waiting to depart from Toronto’s Union Station.
