When I came into AA, I thought my life was over. I was sure I’d never have fun again. But luckily, I soon learned that this was not true. The Big Book says, “Your imagination will be fired. Life will mean something at last. The most satisfactory years of your existence lie ahead.” This month, our special section features stories by AA members who have learned to really enjoy life again—sober.
