Me and You and AA

At a point during my recovery, my boyfriend, Paul, who is also sober, decided we needed to take some space from each other and live apart. I was working fulltime and going to school fulltime. Paul had an adult son struggling with addiction and another son testing the waters. We both had financial stress. He and I began to focus more and more on outside influences and less on our own recovery. We became unhealthy for ourselves and for each other.
