My dear AA friend, Doug, is a very skilled sailor and lives on his prized blue water cruiser in Washington. One of Doug’s many acts of service work is taking fellow AA members out sailing. Last June, I got to spend a perfect summer day with Doug and other members. We sailed past the waterfront and anchored in deep water for swimming and sun-bathing. That evening we disembarked and walked to the Millennium Group AA meeting. It was one of the best days of my life.
