A member shares why it’s important for her to hear booze discussed in AA

When I drank alcohol, I could do anything. It gave me courage I never had when sober. So even before I went out to the bar, I had to start drinking at home to have enough courage to go. This may sound insane, but I was insane. No doubt in my mind. Alcoholics Anonymous has given me my life back. I can now be who I am.
