Reflecting on the Past

A beautiful view of a mountain lake gives him gratitude for how far he's come

I decided a long time ago that if I were to pick the one thing in this world that comes closest to the glory of God as I understand him it would be the view of Mount Rainier in Seattle, especially the one while traveling east on the floating bridge on a clear winter morning. As the sun rises over the Cascade Mountains there is a spot from the middle of the bridge where the huge snow-covered volcano is perfectly reflected onto the serene waters of Lake Washington. It is truly an awesome sight that I carry with me in my heart because it’s home.
