When alcoholics come into AA in their teens, 20s and 30s, getting sober can be tough. For some, drinking used to mean fun and good times. Will sober life be boring and glum? On the contrary. “Your imagination will be fired,” says the Big Book. “The most satisfactory years of your life lie ahead.” In this month’s special section, we feature stories by members who found AA early.
