Rolling to Acceptance

Going to meetings in a wheelchair was really hard until one day she got a great big idea

I had just celebrated 22 years of sobriety when my doctor showed me an X-ray with a large malignant tumor in my hip. After multiple surgeries I was told I would have to use—for the rest of my life—crutches for short distances, and a wheelchair for longer distances. I would never walk again. I was 47 years old.
