She went to the country for a fresh start. She didn't get very far
I was 52 years old, scared and exhausted, when I came into AA. I had run away from my lucrative business in New York City six years earlier, leaving my business partner in the lurch, because I was no longer sure I could keep up the facade of being capable to do the work.
