It was bad enough he was all alone on Thanksgiving, but now that happy AA guy was back
When I showed up at AA, I knew for sure I had come to the last house on the block. It was a grey day in November, and I was homeless and stuck in Burbank—which I quickly found out was the “sobriety capital of the world”—oh Lord. My very first meeting was the Burbank Group on Angeleno Avenue.
