Remembering the Light

The building was abandoned, as was his life, but he had not yet given up on his faith

Growing up I was always told to follow “the light,” and that it represented the lamp of God. My family was in no way the religious family this statement makes it seem, but they did believe that doing unto others and loving thy neighbor as thyself was the right way to live.
