One thing about alcohol that really got me in trouble was my notion that alcohol was a reward for hard work. As a child, I would see adults drinking on the weekends after a long week of work. Television commercials would show men and women celebrating a promotion or some other event with a toast. This was, and still is, a very common portrayal of alcohol.
