Holidays at the Clubhouse

Several years ago, I walked into a clubhouse during a holiday alkathon. I knew it would be going on. Many years earlier, during my first attempts at sobriety, that was the clubhouse where I went to meetings. It was where I brought my children to meetings. It was where I felt at home in my own skin.
