How an old-timer found his HP on the high seas
I got sober on September 1, 1956, when I was 24 years old. I still attend the same meeting where I started, the Empire Way Group in Seattle. There are two major differences from that time to now: the group has grown tenfold, and I moved up from the back of the room to the front row in order not to miss the experience, strength and hope shared by our wonderful younger members.
