Under This Roof

Living with a sober member of AA is one of the greatest blessings of my life. My partner and I have a common purpose, a common Higher Power and a common way of life in AA. We don't have the temptation of alcohol inside our home, and we attend some meetings together. We go to the same church, and we have many friends in common. At times, we read, pray or meditate together. We continue to take our own inventory and can promptly admit to each other when we have been wrong. Life today is truly joyful, full of acceptance, forgiveness, tolerance, understanding and love.
