On to Atlanta!
In 2010, the International Convention took place in our state, and we got requests that they were looking for volunteers. So I went to my home group and called for a group conscience and asked if they’d be willing to help. The group agreed, and I signed us up to work one time slot—Friday afternoon registration. Friday came and I had my fingers crossed that everyone would show up. Much to my surprise they did!
