The Fight Is Over

From butting heads with her parents, to resisting AA, surrender didn't come naturally to her

One of my favorite sayings in the Twelve and Twelve book is, "we no longer have to fight anyone or anything." What a relief. I had been fighting my whole life, even as I child. I was constantly butting heads with my parents over what I thought of as their outdated and obsolete ideas. This caused both me and them a lot of pain. I hope they have forgiven me.
