My Ears Are Free

My job has me sitting at a computer and I use my eyes and hands, but not my ears, so I listen to a lot of audiobooks during the workday. About 10 years ago, I started traveling for work from time to time. When I'm on the road, there's usually no time for meetings—literally all my waking hours are taken up with work. However, I usually have an hour or so in the mornings and evenings when I'm working on the computer by myself in my hotel room, so I have some privacy—and my ears are available.
