Her life used to be punctuated by drinking, now it's measured in meetings

Yesterday, the Monday after Father's Day, I drove my daughter, Elizabeth, to the airport to fly back to Chicago after her weekend visit. We had a really fun drive—we talked, we laughed, and listened to great music.
