Carrying The Message

I attended a meeting in the prison last night, and it’s truly amazing how good I feel when I leave. It’s not just the fact that I can leave of my own accord; it’s more the spiritual uplift I get from giving back. It’s ironic that I have to go into a prison to experience some of the best AA meetings that I attend. I rarely get that kind of boost from my home group, and I love my home group!
